kevalāvatāraprakāśaḥ
Ninth Chapter
श्रीः-
अहं नारायणी देवी नारायणमनुव्रता।ज्ञानानन्दक्रियात्मानं ज्ञानानन्दक्रियामयी॥ १॥
śrīḥ-
ahaṁ nārāyaṇī devī nārāyaṇamanuvratā
|jñānānandakriyātmānaṁ jñānānandakriyāmayī || 1 ||
Maha Lakshmi:- I am Narayani, devi,
always following (helping) Narayana who consists of jnana, ananda and Kriya. I
am also consist of jnana, ananda and kriya
तस्या मे न विनाभावस्तेन वा तस्य वा
मया।
प्रकर्तुं शक्यते काले कस्मिंश्चिद्देश
एव वा॥ २॥
tasyā me na vinābhāvastena
vā tasya vā mayā |
prakartuṁ śakyate kāle
kasmiṁściddeśa eva vā || 2 ||
There is no time or place where It is
possible for him to exist without me nor me to exist without him.
तत्तत्कार्यवशाच्चैवान्यद्भूताद्भुतरूपकौ।
आत्मयोगबलात्तौ स्वः सहैव च विनैव
च॥ ३॥
tattatkāryavaśāccaivānyadbhūtādbhutarūpakau
|
ātmayogabalāttau svaḥ
sahaiva ca vienaiva ca || 3 ||
Using our own yogic strength , with or
without other, we two, to do various actions we take various normal and
wonderful forms.
ब्रह्मादिर्दत्तवान् यादृक्तपोयोगबलात्कृतः।
दैत्यादिभ्यो जगद् ध्वंसकरेभ्यो वरमुत्तमम्॥
४॥
brahmādirdattavān yādṛktapoyogabalātkṛtaḥ
|
daityādibhyo jagad
dhvaṁsakarebhyo varamuttamam || 4 ||
Brahma and other devas have to give great
boons, due to the proper tapas done by daityas (asuras) who are destroyers of
the world
तादृशं तादृशं रूपमास्थायावां सनातनौ।
तत्तत्प्रीतिचिकीर्षायै चरावो देवकार्यतः॥
५॥
tādṛśaṁ tādṛśaṁ rūpamāsthāyāvāṁ
sanātanau |
tattatprīticikīrṣāyai
carāvo devakāryataḥ || 5 ||
During such times, to please them, based
on their requests, we two, eternal, do the actions for devas by taking various
forms
मायया भावमाच्च्छाद्य परमार्थं स्वतेजसा।
अहमेवावतीर्णा हि तत्तद् ध्वंसिजिघांसया॥
६॥
māyayā bhāvamāccchādya
paramārthaṁ svatejasā |
ahamevāvatīrṇā hi
tattad dhvaṁsijighāṁsayā || 6 ||
With the intention to destroy them, I
take avatarams, covering my paramartha svarupa with maya, using my own vital
power
आदौ देवी महालक्ष्मीः स्मृताहं परमेश्वरी।
अभूवं च पुनर्द्वेधा कृष्णा ब्राह्मीति
रूपतः॥ ७॥
ādau devī mahālakṣmīḥ
smṛtāhaṁ parameśvarī |
abhūvaṁ ca punardvedhā
kṛṣṇā brāhmīti rūpataḥ || 7||
In the beginning I am devi Maha Lakshmi
also known as Parameshwari. After that I take two other forms called Krishna
and BrahmI
गुणत्रयविभागेन रूपमेतत्परं मम।
महालक्ष्मीरहं शक्र पुनः स्वायंभुवेऽन्तरे॥
८॥
guṇatrayavibhāgena rūpametatparaṁ
mama |
mahālakṣmīrahaṁ śakra
punaḥ svāyaṁbhuve'ntare || 8 ||
The above forms are my forms conforming
to the three gunas. O Sakra, During the Svayambhu manu's anthara(time), I Maha
Lakshmi again ..
हिताय सर्वलोकानां जाता महिषमर्दनी।
मदीया शक्तिलेशा ये तत्तद्देवशरीरगाः॥
९॥
hitāya sarvalokānāṁ jātā
mahiṣamardanī |
madīyā śaktileśā ye
tattaddevaśarīragāḥ || 9 ||
In the interests of all the world took an
avataram named MahishaMardhani. My small portions of sakthi which was there in
the bodies of various devas
संभूय ते ममाभूवन् रूपं परमशोभनम्।
आयुधानि च देवानां यानि यानि सुरेश्वर॥
१०॥
saṁbhūya te mamābhūvan
rūpaṁ paramaśobhanam |
āyudhāni ca devānāṁ yāni
yāni sureśvara || 10 ||
Was brought together and I took the very
beautiful form. O sureswara, Each one of the weapons of various devas
तच्छक्तयस्तदाकारा आयुधानि ममाभवन्।
अभिष्टुता सुरैः साहं महिषं जघ्नुषी
क्षणात्॥ ११॥
tacchaktayastadākārā āyudhāni
mamābhavan |
abhiṣṭutā suraiḥ sāhaṁ
mahiṣaṁ jaghnuṣī kṣaṇāt || 11 ||
With their same power and in the same
form became my own weapons. I , in a moment, killed Mahishan and was praised by
the devas.
महिषान्तकरीसूक्तं सर्वसिद्धिप्रदं
तदा।
देव्या ययादिकं दृष्टं सेन्द्रैर्देवैः
सहर्षिभिः॥ १२॥
mahiṣāntakarīsūktaṁ
sarvasiddhipradaṁ tadā |
devyā yayādikaṁ dṛṣṭaṁ
sendrairdevaiḥ saharṣibhiḥ || 12 ||
The hymn starting with "DEVYA
YAYA" was seen by Indra, devas and rishis. This hymn which praises the
Mahisha anthakari gives one success in everything. See Markandeya Puranam 81-3
to 81-27
उत्पत्तिं युद्धविक्रान्तिं स्तोत्रं चेति सुरेश्वर।
कथयन्ति सुविस्तीर्णं ब्राह्मणा वेदपारगाः॥
१३॥
utpattiṁ yuddhavikrāntiṁ stotraṁ ceti sureśvara |
kathayanti suvistīrṇaṁ
brāhmaṇā vedapāragāḥ || 13 ||
O Sureshwara, brahmins skilled in vedas,
told in detail, her avatara and her great actions in the war and the stotrams
एवंप्रभावां देवीं तां स्तुवन् ध्यायन्नमन्नपि।
लभते च फलं शश्वदाधिपत्यमनश्वरम्॥
१४॥
evaṁprabhāvāṁ devīṁ tāṁ
stuvan dhyāyannamannapie |
labhate ca phalaṁ śaśvadādhipatyamanaśvaram
|| 14 ||
The one who meditates and worships this
devi with the aforesaid might gets all he soughts and gets permenant lordships
and immortality
योगनिद्रा हरेरुक्ता या सा देवी दुरत्यया।
महाकालीतुनुं विद्धि तां मां देवीं
सनातनीम्॥ १५॥
yoganidrā hareruktā yā
sā devī duratyayā |
mahākālītunuṁ viddhi tāṁ
māṁ devīṁ sanātanīm || 15 ||
I am the eternal devi named Maha Kali,
the inscrutable devi who is spoken of as Sri Hari's Yoga Nidra
मधुकैटभनाशे हि मोहितौ तौ तया तदा।
जघ्नाते वरलाभेन देवदेवेन विष्णुना॥
१६॥
madhukaiṭabhanāśe hi
mohiīutau tau tayā tadā |
jaghnāte varalābhena
devadevena viṣṇunā || 16 ||
When Madhu and Kaidabha's destruction
became over bearing due to the boons they got from Maha Vishnu, deva of all
devas, she killed them
विश्वेश्वर्यदिकं सूक्तं दृष्टं तद्
ब्रह्मणा सदा।
स्तुतये योगनिद्राया मम देव्याः पुरंदर॥
१७॥
viśveśvaryadikaṁ sūktaṁ
dṛṣṭaṁ tad brahmaṇā sadā |
stutaye yoganidrāyā
mama devyāḥ puraṁdara || 17 ||
O Prandara, the stotram, praising me,
yoga nidra devi, starting with "Visvesvari" was stated by Brahma
(Markandeya Purana 78-53 to 78-67)
एषा सा वैष्णवी माया महाकाली दुरत्यया।
स्तुतये वशीकृता कुर्याद्वशे स्तोतुश्चराचरम्॥
१८॥
eṣā sā vaiṣṇavī māyā
mahākālī duratyayā |
stutaye vaśīkṛtā kuryādvaśe
stotuścarācaram || 18 ||
She is of Vishnu, Maya, Maha Kali the
inscrutable.She is bewitched by praises and when bewitched makes the person who
praises her the master of all movable and immovable things
अस्या देव्याः समुत्पत्तिश्चरितं स्तोत्रमित्यपि।
हिताय सर्वभूतानां धार्यन्ते ब्रह्मवादिभिः॥१९॥
asyā devyāḥ samutpattiścaritaṁ
stotramityapi |
hitāya sarvabhūtānāṁ
dhāryante brahmavādiūbhiḥ ||19 ||
The Brahma Vadins hold that (hearing /
chanting) this devi's birth, history and stotras is in the interest of all the
living beings
तामसे त्वन्तरे शक्र महाविद्या हि
या परा।
गौरीदेहात्समुद्भूता कौशिकीति तदा
ह्यहम्॥ २०॥
tāmase tvantare śakra
mahāvidyā hi yā parā |
gaurīdehātsamudbhūtā
kauśikīti tadā hyaham || 20 ||
O Sakra, during the Tamasa Manu
antharam(time), I , Maha Vidya, born out of Gauri's body and is named Kausiki
वधाय दुष्टदैत्यानां तथा सुम्भनिसुम्भयोः।
रक्षणाय च लोकानां देवानामुपकारिणी॥
२१॥
vadhāya duṣṭadaityānāṁ
tathā sumbhanisumbhayoḥ |
rakṣaṇāya ca lokānāṁ
devānāmupakāriṇī || 21 ||
For killing wicked asuras Sumbha and
Nisumbha , to protect the world and as a helper of devas, I was born
मदीयाः शक्तयो यास्ता देवश्रेष्ठशरीरगाः।
तास्तास्तद्रूपधारिण्यः साहाय्यं विदधुर्हि
मे॥ २२॥
madīyāḥ śaktayo yāstā
devaśreṣṭhaśarīragāḥ |
tāstāstadrūpadhāriṇyaḥ
sāhāyyaṁ vidadhurhi me|| 22 ||
My powers which were in the bodies of
various devas, took various forms and come to my side for helping me
ताभिर्निहत्य दैत्येन्द्रान् हन्तव्या
ये तथा तथा।
संहृत्यात्मनि ताः सर्वा मदीया विप्रुषोऽखिलाः॥
२३॥
tābhirnihatya
daityendrān hantavyā ye tathā tathā |
saṁhṛtyātmani tāḥ sarvā
madīyā vipruṣo'khilāḥ || 23 ||
I took all of them together into me for
killing the two asuras
अहं निजघ्नुषी पश्चात्तयोः सुम्भनिसुम्भयोः।
देवि प्रपन्नातिहरे प्रसीदेत्यादिकं
तथा॥ २४॥
ahaṁ nijaghnuṣī paścāttayoḥ
sumbhanisumbhayoḥ |
devi prapannātihare
prasīdetyādikaṁ tathā || 24 ||
Afterwards, I killed the two asuras
Sumbha and Nishumbha. At that time the stotram starting with "Devi
Prapannatihare praseeta"
नारायणीस्तुतिर्नाम सूक्तं परमशोभनम।
स्तुतयो मे तदा दृष्टा देवैर्वह्निपुरोगमैः॥
२५॥
nārāyaṇīstutirnāma sūktaṁ
paramaśobhanama |
stutayo me tadā dṛṣṭā
devairvahnipurogamaiḥ || 25 ||
Sung by devas lead by agni. This is a
very auspicious stotram praising Narayani (Markandeya Puranam 88-2 to 88-35)
एषा संपूजिता भक्त्या सर्वज्ञत्वं
प्रयच्छति।
कौशिकी सर्वदेवेश बहुकामप्रदा ह्यहम्॥
२६॥
eṣā saṁpūjitā bhaktyā
sarvajñatvaṁ prayacchati |
kauśikī sarvadeveśa
bahukāmapradā hyaham || 26 ||
O Sarva devesa, Me, Kausiki, capable of
giving all that is wished, to those devotees who prays to her, gives all
knowing nature(omniscient)
उत्पत्तिर्युद्धविक्रान्तिः स्तुतिश्चेति
पुरातनैः।
पठ्यते त्रितयं विप्रैर्वेदवेदाङ्गपारगैः॥
२७॥
utpattiryuddhavikrāntiḥ
stutiśceti purātanaiḥ |
paṭhyate tritayaṁ
viprairvedavedāṅgapāragaiḥ || 27 ||
Me, the ancient is praised by the
brahmins who have well learnt the veda and vedantas in three ways namely my
avatara, my great actions in yuddha and my praise.
वैवस्वतेऽन्तरे चैतौ पुनः सुम्भनिसुम्भकौ।
उत्पत्स्येते वरोन्मत्तौ देवोपद्रवकारिणौ॥
२८॥
vaivasvate'ntare
caitau punaḥ sumbhanisumbhakau |
utpatsyete varonmattau
devopadravakāriṇau || 28 ||
In Vaivasvatha Manu's antharm(time) this
Sumbha, nisumbha will born again. Mad with the boons they got will be creating
troubles for devas
नन्दगोपकुले जाता यशोदागर्भसंभवा।
तावहं नाशयिष्यामि सुनन्दा विन्ध्यवासिनी॥
२९॥
nandagopakule jātā yaśodāgarbhasaṁbhavā
|
tāvahaṁ nāśayiṣyāmi
sunandā vindhyavāsinī || 29 ||
I will then be born in the family of
Nandagopalan from Yasodha's womb as Sunandini, who lives in Vindhya mountains
and kill them
पुनश्चाप्यतिरौद्रेण रूपेण पृथिवीतले।
अवतीर्य हनिष्यामि वैप्रचित्तान् महासुरान्॥
३०॥
punaścāpyatiraudreṇa rūpeṇa
pṛthivītale |
avatīrya haniṣyāmi
vaipracittān mahāsurān || 30 ||
I will again descend(avatar) in this word
taking a very violent and fierce form. Having taken this avatar, I will kill
the great asuras the descendants of Vaipracitti
भक्षयन्त्याश्च तानुग्रान् वैप्रचित्तान्
महासुरान्।
रक्ता दन्ता भविष्यन्ति दाडिमीकुसुमोपमाः॥
३१॥
bhakṣayantyāśca tānugrān
vaipracittān mahāsurān |
raktā dantā bhaviṣyanti
dāḍimīkusumopamāḥ || 31 ||
In this form I eat those fierce great
asuras, the descendants of vaiprachitt. Due to which my teeth turns blood red
like the pearls of pomegranate fruit.
ततो मां देवताः सर्वे मर्त्यलोके च
मानवाः।
स्तुवन्तो व्याहरिष्यन्ति सततं रक्तदन्तिकाम्॥
३२॥
tato māṁ devatāḥ sarve
martyaloke ca mānavāḥ |
stuvanto vyāhariṣyanti
satataṁ raktadantikām || 32 ||
From then, I am praised as
RakthaThanthika by all the devas and humans of this world
सर्वतः शतवार्षिक्यामनावृष्ट्यामनम्भसि॥ ३३॥
tasminnevāntare śakra
catvāriṁśattame yuge |
sarvataḥ śatavārṣikyāmanāvṛṣṭyāmanambhasi
|| 33 ||
O Sakra, after this in the 40th yuga of
Tamasa manvantaram, everywhere for 100 years in the world there will be drought
and there will be no water.
मुनिभिः संस्मृता भूमौ संभविष्याम्ययोनिजा।
ततः शतेन नेत्राणां निरीक्षिष्याम्यहं
मुनीन्॥ ३४॥
munibhiḥ saṁsmṛtā bhūmau
saṁbhaviṣyāmyayonijā |
tataḥ śatena netrāṇāṁ
nirīkṣiṣyāmyahaṁ munīn || 34 ||
Being requested by sages, I will appear
in the world directly(ayonija) and will look at those sages with my hundred
eyes
कीर्तयिष्यन्ति मां शक्र शताक्षीमिति
मानवाः।
तदाहमखिलं लोकमात्मदेहसभुद्भवैः॥ ३५॥
kīrtayiṣyanti māṁ śakra
śatākṣīmiti mānavāḥ |
tadāhamakhilaṁ lokamātmadehasabhudbhavaiḥ
|| 35 ||
O Sakra, all the humans of this world
praise me as Sathaakshi. I then with that came out of my body
भरिष्यामि शुभैः शाकैराविष्टैः प्राणधारकैः।
शाकंभरीति मां देवास्तदा स्तोष्यन्ति
वासव॥ ३६॥
bhariṣyāmi śubhaiḥ śākairāviṣṭaiḥ
prāṇadhārakaiḥ |
śākaṁbharīti māṁ devāstadā
stoṣyanti vāsava || 36 ||
Fill this world with pleasant plants,
capable of giving life. O Vasava, because of this, devas praise me as
Sakambhari
तत्रैव च हनिष्यामि दुर्गमाख्यं महासुरम्।
दुर्गादेवीति विख्यातिं ततो यास्याम्यहं
भुवि॥ ३७॥
tatraiva ca haniṣyāmi
durgamākhyaṁ mahāsuram |
durgādevīti vikhyātiṁ
tato yāsyāmyahaṁ bhuvi || 37 ||
After that, I killed a great asura named
Durgan. Because of this I am known in this world as Durga Devi
शाकंभरीं स्तुवन् ध्यायन् शक्र संपूजयन्नमन्।
अक्षय्यामश्नुते शीघ्रमन्नपानोद्भवां
रतिम्॥ ३८॥
śākaṁbharīṁ stuvan dhyāyan
śakra saṁpūjayannaman |
akṣayyāmaśnute śīghramannapānodbhavāṁ
ratim || 38 ||
The one who praises, meditates , worships
and salutes Shakambari, the beautiful and the producer, O Sakra, he will get
quickly limitless food and water as desired.
चतुर्युगे च पञ्चाशत्तमे मुनिभिरर्थिता।
सुन्दरं चातिभीमं च रूपं कृत्वा हिमाचले॥
३९॥
caturyuge ca pañcāśattame
munibhirarthiītā |
sundaraṁ cātibhīmaṁ ca
rūpaṁ kṛtvā himācale || 39 ||
In Tamasa Manu antharam, during 50th
chaturyugam, as per the requests of sages, I will take an avatara in Himalayas,
a handsome and very frightening form
रक्षांसि भक्षयिष्यामि मुनीनां त्राणकारणात्।
ततो मां मुनयः सर्वे स्तोष्यन्त्यानम्रमूर्तयः॥
४०॥
rakṣāṁsi bhakṣayiṣyāmi
munīnāṁ trāṇakāraṇāt |
tato māṁ munayaḥ sarve
stoṣyantyānamramūrtayaḥ || 40 ||
I will eat those rakshashas for the
purpose of protecting the sages. Those sages then will praise me with bowed
heads.
भीमे देवि प्रसीदेति भीमामभयदायिनीम।
युगे षष्टितमे कश्चिदरुणो नाम दानवः॥
४१॥
bhīme devi prasīdeti
bhīmāmabhayadāyinīma |
yuge ṣaṣṭitame kaścidaruṇo
nāma dānavaḥ || 41 ||
(as)will praise me, Bheema, who gives
sanctuary, with the sloka "Bhime Devi Praseeda". In the sixth yuga of
Tamasa Manvantharam, an asura named Arunan will appear
मनुजानां मुनीनां च महाबाधां करिष्यति।
तत्राहं भ्रामरं रूपं कृत्वासंख्येयषट्पदा॥
४२॥
manujānāṁ munīnāṁ ca
mahābādhāṁ kariṣyati |
tatrāhaṁ bhrāmaraṁ rūpaṁ
kṛtvāsaṁkhyeyaṣaṭpadā || 42 ||
He will be creating great hardships /
sufferings to humanity and sages. At that time I take the form of a beetle with
six legs alongwith lots of other beetles.
त्रैलोक्यस्य हितार्थाय वधिष्यामि
महासुरम्।
भ्रामरीति च मां लोकास्तदा स्तोष्यन्ति
सर्वदा॥ ४३॥
trailokyasya hitārthāya
vadhiṣyāmi mahāsuram |
bhrāmarīti ca māṁ lokāstadā
stoṣyanti sarvadā || 43 ||
For the benefit of the three worlds, I
kill the great asura. All the people in all the worlds then praise me as
Bhramaree.
इत्थं यदा यदा बाधा दानवोत्था भविष्यति।
तदा तदावतीर्याहं हनिष्यामि महासुरान्॥
४४॥
itthaṁ yadā yadā bādhā
dānavotthā bhaviṣyati |
tadā tadāvatīryāhaṁ
haniṣyāmi mahāsurān || 44 ||
Thus, whenever dhanavas(Asuras) create
trouble and sufferings, in all those time, I descend and kill the those strong
asuras
अमी ते लेशतः शक्र दर्शिताः परमाद्भुताः।
अवतारा निरातङ्का मदीयाः केवलाह्वयाः॥
४५॥
amī te leśataḥ śakra
darśitāḥ paramādbhutāḥ |
avatārā nirātaṅkā madīyāḥ
kevalāhvayāḥ || 45 ||
O Sakra, till now I told you concisely
about my few named avataras which are great, wonderful and fearless
एतेषां परमा प्रोक्ता कूटस्था सा महीयसी।
महालक्ष्मीर्महाभागा प्रकृतिः परमेश्वरी॥
४६॥
eteṣāṁ paramā proktā kūṭasthā
sā mahīyasī |
mahālakṣmīrmahābhāgā
prakṛtiḥ parameśvarī || 46 ||
Mahalakshmi is the eminent form and is
much higher than all these avataras, she is the unchanging and the mightiest.
She is the parameshvari of the world.
अमुष्याः स्तुतये दृष्टं ब्रह्माद्यैः
सकलैः सुरैः।
नमो देव्यादिकं सूक्तं सर्वकामप्रदं
वरम्॥ ४७॥
amuṣyāḥ stutaye dṛṣṭaṁ
brahmādyaiḥ sakalaiḥ suraiḥ |
namo devyādikaṁ sūktaṁ
sarvakāmapradaṁ varam|| 47 ||
The slokam that praises me, capable of giving one his all desires, which
starts with "Namo Devya" was
sung by all the devas starting with Brahma
इमां देवीं स्तुवन्नित्यं स्तोत्रेणानेन
मामिह।
क्लेशानतीत्य सकलानैश्वर्यं महदश्नुते॥
४८॥
imāṁ devīṁ stuvannityaṁ
stotreṇānena māmiha |
kleśānatītya sakalānaiśvaryaṁ
mahadaśnute || 48 ||
Like this, those who praise Maha Lakshmi
with various stotrams daily, all their difficulties will get over and they will
obtain all the great Aiswaryams
अमुष्याः सावताराया महालक्ष्म्या ममानघ।
जन्मानि चरितैः सार्धं स्तोत्रैर्वैभववादिभिः॥
४९॥
amuṣyāḥ sāvatārāyā mahālakṣmyā
mamānagha |
janmāni caritaiḥ sārdhaṁ
stotrairvaibhavavādibhiḥ || 49 ||
The births, stories, stotrams and glories
of avatarams of mine (was told by me) Maha Lakshmi, the sinless
कथितानि पुरा शक्र वसिष्ठेन महात्मना।
स्वारोचिषेऽन्तरे राज्ञे सुरथाय महात्मने॥५०॥
kathitāni purā śakra
vasiṣṭhena mahātmanā |
svārociṣe'ntare rājñe
surathāya mahātmane ||50||
O Sakra! earlier in svorochishe
manvantaram Vashista Mahatma told (the
above to) raja suratha mahatma
समाधये च वैश्याय प्रणतायावसीदते।
भक्तिश्रद्धावता नित्यं वसिष्ठेन कृतेति
मे॥ ५१॥
samādhaye ca vaiśyāya
praṇatāyāvasīdate |
bhaktiśraddhāvatā
nityaṁ vasiṣṭhena kṛteti me || 51 ||
(And also) To give samadhi to a humble
Vysya(Markanteya Puranam Chapter 73 slokas 15-27. With belief in me and
sraddha, one should read daily that is written by Vashista
हृदि स्थिता सदा सेयं जन्मकर्मावलिस्तुतिः।
एतां द्विजमुखाच्छ्रुत्वा ह्यधीयानो
नरः सदा॥ ५२॥
hṛdi sthitā sadā seyaṁ
janmakarmāvalistutiḥ |
etāṁ dvijamukhācchrutvā
hyadhīyāno naraḥ sadā || 52 ||
Keeping me in their heart always read the
stotram that will end the series of janma karmas. All those who hear these
stories through a brahmin reading them
विधूय निखिलां मायां सम्यग्ज्ञानं
समश्नुते।
सर्वां संपदमाप्नोति धुनोति सकलापदः॥
५३॥
vidhūya nikhilāṁ māyāṁ
samyagjñānaṁ samaśnute |
sarvāṁ saṁpadamāpnoti
dhunoti sakalāpadaḥ || 53 ||
Gets their maya removed and they get the
higher and true knowledge(jnana) and gets all riches and all his hazards
/dififculties get destroyed(beaten)
मम प्रभावात् सौभाग्यं कीर्तिं चैव
समश्नुते।
केवला अपि यद्येते मदीया विष्णुना
विना॥ ५४॥
mama prabhāvāt saubhāgyaṁ
kīrtiṁ caiva samaśnute |
kevalā api yadyete madīyā
viṣṇunā vinā || 54 ||
Due to my divine power, they also get
prosperity and fame. All these are those avataras taken by me alone without Vishnu.
न मेऽस्ति संभवः सोऽयमहंभूतः स्थितोऽत्र तु।
अन्योन्येनाविनाभावादन्योन्येन समन्वयात्॥
५५॥
na me'sti saṁbhavaḥ
so'yamahaṁbhūtaḥ sthito'tra tu |
anyonyenāvinābhāvādanyonyena
samanvayāt || 55 ||
But know that I do not exist alone
(Without Vishnu). When I take these avataras he is the "I" of mine in
them. We two are together always and both in form and actions exist together
मय्ययं देवदेवेशस्तत्राहं च सनातनी।
इत्येते लेशतः शक्र दर्शिताः सप्रकारकाः॥
५६॥
mayyayaṁ devadeveśastatrāhaṁ
ca sanātanī |
ityete leśataḥ śakra
darśitāḥ saprakārakāḥ || 56 ||
O Sakra! The deva devan Maha Vishnu
exists in me and I, the eternal, exists in him. Like this , in short, i showed
the particulars(of my avataras)
अवतारा मदीयास्ते संभूताः कोशपञ्चके।
शुद्धे कोशे समुद्भूता भवद्भावात्मकाः
परे॥ ५७॥
avatārā madīyāste saṁbhūtāḥ
kośapañcake |
śuddhe kośe samudbhūtā
bhavadbhāvātmakāḥ pare || 57 ||
Know that all these avataras are
contained in the five khosas. However, in the Suddha Khosa, we two exist
together as Bhavat(existance) and bhavatmakam(state of existance).
तत्राप्येषा स्थितिर्ज्ञेया विष्णोर्मम
सह स्थितिः।
एवंप्रकारां मां ज्ञात्वा प्रत्यक्षां
सर्वसंमताम्॥ ५८॥
tatrāpyeṣā sthitirjñeyā
viṣṇormama saha sthitiḥ |
evaṁprakārāṁ māṁ jñātvā
pratyakṣāṁ sarvasaṁmatām || 58 ||
The one who understands the position of
the avataras , the coexistance position of me and Vishnu and who understands me
as the self evident, as accepted by all
उपायैर्विविधैः शश्वदुपास्य बहुधात्मिकाम्।
क्लेशकर्माशयातीतो मद्भावं प्रतिपद्यते॥
५९॥
upāyairvividhaiaiḥ śaśvadupāsya
bahudhātmikām |
kleśakarmāśayātīto
madbhāvaṁ pratipadyate || 59 ||
May use different upasanas(approaches) to
reach me.The one who is taking me, of numerous form, as upaya, gets his troubles, his karmas, his wants destroyed
and attains my form
इति श्रीपाञ्चरात्रसारे लक्ष्मीतन्त्रे
केवलावतारप्रकाशो नाम नवमोऽध्यायः।।
iti śrīpāñcarātrasāre
lakṣmītantre kevalāvatāraprakāśo nāma navamo'dhyāyaḥ ||
Thus ends the Ninth chapter named The
lonely Avatara exposition in laksmi tantra of Pancharatra Saram
